WHERE WE ARE

Voluntary Action Lewis Building

The Lewis Voluntary Resource Centre is at 30 Francis Street, Stornoway, next door to the SNH building, just below the junction with Lewis Street. We are a few minutes walk from the bus station and the new Ferry Terminal.

Parking
Car parking behind the Centre is limited and parking beside the neighbouring flats is private. However, it is possible for disabled people to park in the courtyard.

Public car parks are at the South Beach area near the Bus Station and in the vicinity of the Council Buildings, Sandwick Road. On the road parking may be found for varying times in the surrounding streets.

Wheelchair Facilities
The building has wheelchair access. The entrance can be accessed via a ramp from the parking area at the rear of the building or by the pedestrian entrance at Francis Street. Toilet facilities are on the ground floor; the upper floor of the building, including the Boardroom, is accessed via a lift.
